HONDA N- WGN vs. HONDA N ONE

Both Honda N- WGN and Honda N One are Japanese kei cars and are very much popular since a very long time in Pakistan’s auto market. Both cars have slim, smart and elegant finishing and design that attracts its buyer. Both the cars have 660 cc engines. Honda N- One was introduced for sale on November 1, 2012 whereas Honda N WGN went on sale a year later, in 2013. Japan is the parent country of both the cars and therefore can be purchased brand new only in Japan. However, in Pakistan the car is sold as a used car. The nomenclature of both the car pertains to an old car of 1960s and 1970s and is basically paying a tribute to its eminent N360 vehicle of these centuries. The cars have very things in common but also have some differences in their specifications and features. First comes, the interior of the car. The interior of both the cars is comfortable and handsome however, the interior of mini wagon is a little more spacious than its sister car; N one. N Wagon has more legroom and headroom. Both the cars pretty resemble in their dashboard design. The upper portion of the dashboard of both the cars is similar however there is a difference in their bottom portion as the Honda N- WGN has an adjustment for an extra height.

The name Wagon has been given to this car because of having a Wagon like shape. Honda N one has a simple and retro styling as compared to N- WGN that is pretty modernized in its look.  The old school styling round headlights in the front of N- one is the cause of its retro style but N- WGN has gotten a modern look because of its slanting headlights in its front and has upgraded front and making it look much boxier. The design of both the cars make them different from each other in a way that N one has rounded edges and curves where as N- WGN is all box with sharp lines.

Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic, Milano Red, Cutlery Silver Metallic, Smart Black, Polished Metal Metallic, Premium Velvet Purple Pearl and Premium White Pearl are the colors available for N- Wagon. Addition of 5 colors contains Cookie Cream, Premium Pink Pearl, Premium Blue Moon Pearl and Premium Deep Mocha Pearl.

Engine is something that makes the value of a car up or down in the vehicle market. Besides of Honda N- WGN and Honda N one’ s design and looks, these cars make their status in the auto market because of having an efficient engine. Both the cars have Honda’s 658 3- cylinder engines. This cylinder engine is basically Honda’s earth dreams SO7A. SO7A is a code of the engine. The engine is counted among the tiny engines and the compression ratio of this small engine is 11.8: 1. Engine is sufficiently equipped with Honda’s continuous varying valve timing technology. This tiny engine also has 59 hp.

Both the cars come in the market with a continuously variable transmission. Continuously variable transmission gearboxes that are used in both the kei cars are eco- friendly and contain much better fuel economy in comparison to the cars having conventional auto gearboxes. Honda N one has 0 speed gearbox with automatic transmission type, it is a petrol fuel type car having inline cylinder configuration with 3 cylinders and has the torque of 64 Nm per 3600 rpm. If we talk about the Honda N- Wagon it has 6 hp to a total of 64 hp because of having turbochargers that raises its power. The torque output has increased by 40% from 65 NM to 104 Nm. Engine revolutions are 2600 and 2100 rpm.  Both the cars have a front wheel drive platform or an all wheel drive platform. So while buying your Honda N vehicle, you should keep in mind that you are purchasing the correct N vehicle for yourself.

The prices of both Honda N one and Honda N- WGN are more or less similar to each other as the decent looking Honda N one is sold between 11 to 13 lacs in contrast which the Honda N- WGN is found between 10 to 12 lacs. This mild difference of 2 lacs in the price depends upon the grade of the car and the available variant.
